Your 550 paracord horse gear is strong, durable, and Scotchgard® treated for extra protection against dirt and stains. With a little care, it will stay looking great and performing safely.
Cleaning
Hand wash in cold water with mild soap or detergent
Use a soft brush or cloth to remove dirt, sweat, or mud
Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue
Drying
Air dry completely before storing or using, do NOT tumble dry
Hang or lay flat in a well‑ventilated area
Avoid direct heat, or prolonged sunlight, which can weaken the cord
General Care
Inspect regularly for wear, fraying, or damage, especially on bridles, halters, lead ropes, or reins
Avoid harsh chemicals or prolonged moisture
After heavy use or exposure to water, allow gear to dry completely before reuse
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight when not in use
Keep away from sharp objects or surfaces that could cause abrasion
